The Origins of HADO
HADO began in the mind of Hiroshi Fukuda, founder and CEO of meleap Inc. Hiroshi dreamed of throwing hadouken like in comics and on TV. This passion burned inside of him until HADO was realized as a sport in 2014.
What is HADO?
Engage in the world's first augmented reality team sport.
Using head-mounted displays and armband sensors, players wield energy orbs and shields on a physical court. By executing real-world actions, participants unleash orbs of energy at opponents, creating an immersive and magical experience. HADO merges physical activity with augmented reality gameplay, offering a dynamic and exhilarating sporting experience
The Arena
Played on a 10x6m court, with up to 3 players on each team. Each game lasts 80 seconds. The team with the most points at the buzzer wins. If a match ends in a draw, teams compete in overtime. The first team to score wins.
